Released in February 2005, Step 76 was created by the Pure Energy production team alongside presenter Elise Lindsay (who back in 2002, won the Pure Energy Presenter Search competition!)

This double album of Chart Hits and Commercial Dance was an instant hit with Pure Energy members and has stood the test of time even to this day!

Featuring tracks such as Pump Up The Jam, Lola’s Theme, My My My, and The Weekend, we can understand why this album is still popular for those who are lucky enough to still own a copy!

As well as thumping tracklist, the unique spin on this product is that it featured a selection of exclusive ‘Mash Ups’ created by Pure Energy’s sister company, Mastermix, which is a process of mixing two well known hits together to create a brand new sound! For example, the smash hit ‘Milkshake’ by Kelis was mashed up with the classic ‘Billy Jean’ by Michael Jackson.
